Willie l. Brown
Willie L. Brown was born in Cape Charles, Virginia and graduated from Northampton County High in Machipongo, Virginia. He also graduated from the following colleges: Central Texas College with an Associate Degree in General Studies; National Bible College Ministerial Program, and University of Maryland Global Campus with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Systems Management. He has done graduate work in a Master of Science program in Management & Project Management and an Executive Management program at University of Maryland College Global Campus graduate program. He completed a Masters of Ministry Degree with a concentration in Biblical Counseling at Masters International School of Divinity. He also has certificates in Basic Critical Incident Management (CISM) and Pastoral Crisis Intervention (PCI) from University of Maryland Baltimore Campus and a Masters Certificate in Information Technology Project Management from George Washington University.
Willie was called to preach the Gospel at 9 years of age while attending his Aunt’s church in Fairview, Virginia. He preached for 3 years then one Sunday when he was to preach that night he got up in the pulpit in front of the congregation and said God did not call him to preach. No one knows a battle was going on as he studied the Bible to preach that evening. He also left the church after that.
While serving in England in the Air Force and returning to the Lord a year later he began to have three dreams about preaching and there seem to be a weight on him for one whole year until he said yes to the Lord in the bathroom at Molesworth where he and two other Sergeants worked in the country. The weight lifted and he has been preaching, teaching and counseling every since. There has been many challenges over the yesrs but the calling of God remains clear to preach the Gospel even at 71 years of age. To God be the glory!!!
